Insurance Information
Learn about payment options and potential insurance reimbursement for your NextSkin consultations.
Payment & Insurance
NextSkin currently operates as a private pay service. This means you pay directly for your consultation at the time of service.
Why Private Pay?
Operating as a private pay service allows us to:
- Provide faster access to dermatologists without insurance approval delays
- Offer transparent, upfront pricing with no surprise bills
- Focus entirely on your care without administrative burdens
- Serve patients regardless of insurance status
Potential Reimbursement
While we don't bill insurance directly, you may be able to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider:
- Request a receipt: After your consultation, you'll receive a detailed receipt (superbill) with all the information needed for a reimbursement claim.
- Submit to your insurer: Contact your insurance company to understand their process for out-of-network reimbursement.
- HSA/FSA eligible: NextSkin consultations may be eligible for payment using Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
